WHERE IN THE WORLD HAS KATHY BEEN?
Coming Soon: the blog returns with Kathy's Fun Facts!
See where Kathy has been....
Here is a hint.
Enchilada does it AGAIN!
David Archuleta aka Enchilada is now two for two on American Idol. His performance of "Imagine" has even inspired me to start blogging again! The following YouTube videos are special. The first video is of Enchilada performing for Kelly Clarkson and the gay from Eating Out. He sings And I Am Telling You (I'm Not Going). The next video is of Jennifer performing the same number at the Tony's (she won that night for the role, amazing)
Where's my dress?
Musical Mondays (on Tuesday): The Oscars
A MESS
That's right. The musical numbers staged during the Oscars were a mess. And everyone I've talked to agrees: Chenoweth should have sung "Happy Working Song" and Amy Adams should have sung "That's How You Know." Cheny looked lost in the elaborate staging and her voice was just NOT RIGHT. Thank god for YouTube--we have the real version. Hopefully Enchanted will be released on DisneyDVD soon.

My pick for the next American Idol
The top 24 begin their quest to be the next American Idol tonight. And somehow, once again, I am hooked. Although I am INCREDIBLY disappointed that Josiah and that dorky kid didn't make it into this part of the show. David is my initial favorite. I haven't correctly identified the winner of American Idol this early since I picked Fantasia as my favorite way back in Season 3.

File Under: Morning Thought 0 Million People Love Adam's Blog
Fashion Friday on Monday (Tuesday): Attack of the shoes....
This blog was supposed to go up yesterday...I apologize for the delay.
Saturday was an adventure with Marco and Jeremy. What started as a simple trip to check out a new store and go to Target for cleaning supplies turned into a shopper's wet dream! See the photos below my recap.
First off Gilly Hicks--the cheeky Australian cousin of Abercrombie & Fitch. They just opened a location at the Collection. Guys: do not be fooled. This store only contains underwear for girls. The store associates were very confused as we walked through the store....Marco enjoyed the bras and the woodwork. I just visited the store's website: www.gillyhicks.com. Its porn. Go there...its better than going to the store.
On to the shoes. Nine pairs. A total romp. I'm very excited about the 4 pairs that I bought. Jeremy and Marco got in on the action too...although Marco declined a hot pair of Hush Puppies. Some of our shoes, oddly enough, came from Bob's Stores. At the checkout counter, Marco and Jeremy found a new friend...
No shopping day would be complete without ice cream. I'm so happy that Marco, Jeremy, and Peter all wanted in on the action as well. Natick still has a Friendly's in the mall, however the line was ENORMOUS! Luckily we decided to have dinner in Charlestown and stumbled upon a strip mall that not only had a Friendly's, it had a Papa Gino's that has yet to be touched by renovation. Marco went nuts.

CLASSIC TELEVISION
Oh my god... I can't believe I found this clip! When I was little, I used to watch all the beauty pageants...hmmm...go figure. So Miss Universe was, of course, the best. And as I'm sure you know, Miss USA, not Miss America, went to the Miss Universe pageant--and this is, of course, because Miss America is a scholarship pageant and Miss USA was just something Donald Trump created to exploit women. This is common knowledge.
Consequently, if any of you are ever in a pageant, I think I would make a great pageant coach--think Michael Caine in Miss Congeniality.
So during the evening gown competition they sang this catchy song "You are My Star" that I couldn't find anywhere. I sort of remembered the tune and sometimes I would sing it while I jump roped--but finally I was able to find the real thing. I wish I could find a CD version of this song! Enjoy:

Adam's Blog Goes CLASSIC: Papa Gino's
The other day Marco and I agreed to meet at the Watertown Mall to have lunch at the CLASSIC Papa Gino's next to Target. HOWEVER, the Papa Gino's is closed! Target is expanding and taking over the mall....the future of this Papa Gino's is unclear. If/When it reopens it will not be the same looking pizzeria--Papa Gino's is remodeling and changing (updating) the looks of their restaurants.
Did anyone else celebrate a birthday at Papa Gino's?I did. Remember the jukeboxes they had?
Look at the hat I got to wear!
I don't think I've ever looked happier--surrounded by red and white checkered tables,
about to make
MY VERY OWN PAPA GINO'S PIZZA!
Here I am kneading the dough. This very Italian (Brazilian) man is helping me decide what to put on my pizza.
I probably only made a cheese pizza since back then I didn't like most pizza toppings.
If I got to make a Papa Gino's pizza today I would top it with
pepperoni, green peppers, onions, and maybe a few mushrooms!
Making pizzas is hard work!AND LOOK AT THOSE HUGE PIZZAS!
Here I take a moment away from the dough to pose for a few photos. SNAPSHOT!
Look at the outfit that pizza lady has on! Talk about FASHION FRIDAY!
I love the CLASSIC Coke clock on the wall too!
